Singapore’s economy continued to recover in 4Q 2009. According to advance estimates from the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), Singapore’s economy expanded by 3.5% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis in 4Q 2009. This coming after Singapore’s economy reversed three consecutive quarters of contraction by posting a positive growth of 0.9% YoY in the preceding quarter.
